It's gonna be crap. Not to mention that DBZ was only good for action/fights, so there's no way the action in the movie would beat the anime's action.

I like DB, though I don't think it'll be the same as a live action movie. I'm just not the type of person who'd have pre-defined low expectations for something I haven't seen yet. Chances are it's going to be targeted at a lower age group than I am.

when i first heard about ir i was siked
then i read an article and i lold
actors are terrible
and its pretty much 100% bluescreen
and its DB, if it was DBZ maybe kinda cool even if its crap

Um you people talk but don't know what you talk WHY you think movie will suck!!??
If you don't know director of movie is guy who worked with X-Files (one of best series ever) and Final Destination so i DON'T think he would **** up this..... so WAIT, see movie and then comment and um guys IT'S 2008 if you watched Transformers (2007)im sure you seen how nice special effects look so wat you think?? Will they suck or something on this 2009 movie?? I don't think so

/mmm, have you seen the movie speedracer (2008)? Db movie will be like the speed racer one, not like the transformers one, the transformers one needed a lot of money. The db movie does not have that money', they will have to do it like speed racer.

I think the movie will suck, db can not be in a movie. Thought, i will see it.

After looking at some of the photos posted: http://www.superherohype.com/dragonball/

I can't say I'm really confident it will succeed. I got whole sense of deja vu looking at the pics and was reminded of the horror known as the Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter live action movies. But who knows. Maybe, it'll be a real winner and surprise everyone. Either way, as I did like the series, I will probably watch it for shits and giggles if nothing else no matter how bad it might be.

On a completely random note, Hollywood must be running out of ideas it they're making movies out of animes. Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Death Note, Gatchaman and Astro Boy are the ones I know in the works off the top of my head. Still kind of wondering what ever happened to the Evangelion one...
