Personally, I think dubs arent worth watching.

Being an avid anime fan, I personally enjoy watching them with subs. Most animes that get dubbed tend to have really bad voicing and that ruins the whole anime.

Take naruto for example, that kid's voice is annoying as heck.

If I watch with dubs I'll missed what they say sometimes and no subs to read back. If watch with subs I'll missed the sence & action while reading the subs lol.. actually both have it's advantages & disadvantages too..

But personally, I'll just prefer with subs because that's the original voice cast from the anime. :guitar2:

I watch old skool stuff like porco rosso and that, but Ill definately go for subtitles. I H8 dubs with a venom, its ALWAYS an American who can dub for s***.

Like POKEMON ADVANCED, the dubbed version got ashe's sex WRONG as it sounded 100% like a woman, with a gravely voice. the jap ones sounded right.

In naruto his voice is PROPER ghey, and sasuke sounds like hes got a c0ck up his n0se. also most of the dubs dont have the intense emotion as the japanese ones. Some dubs work well, like one program i was watching had an excellent dub. (forgot what t was).

prefer subs cause japanese just sounds cool anyway. quality of dubs is usually worse, tho i heard big o dubs were better than original... but id cringe at the thought of some american guy tryin to do vash's hyperness. some stuff that works in japanese just doesnt work in english

neither, I only watch in either raw or Japanese subs.

I've mastered the language, what's the point in watching an anime with poor english subbing. The only english sub I'll watch is the official one. Fan subs are lacking in grammar. Or they're grammar sucks.

i prefer dubs so i can concentrate on watching the anime. having the subtitles is just like a manga because you read the words and have a glimpse at the pictures, i like watching the anime not reading it

i perfer subs because the english voices are annoying and tend to be different from what the creators had meant their voices to be like.

Yupe, i prefer subbed as i like the japanese language and as others mentioned, they are alot better at voice acting. The dubbed versions just doesn't feel right.

I personally prefer dubbed myself cause i dont have to scan my eyes across the bottom of the screen and lose concentration on the actual anime itself but there are certain animes i prefer watching with subs, but overall i dont mind if its subs or dubbed, long as the translations is basically correct its fine with dubbed if english is your main language.

I prefer subs, because it's a great way to learn other language, and the dubs is english usually...no offense, but they really do suck (lack of voice expression, syncing problems, unsuitable voice for the characters, etc.)

Also, reading subs is one of my earliest way in learning English
