Good solid action anime recommendations?
Can anyone recommend anything with really good fighting? I just feel like watching some beat downs :P
So far, the best I've seen were in Sword of the Stranger and Final Fantasy Advent Children... and I've just finished watching them again. Need.... More.....

Well... You could try movies like Akira, X - the Movie, Ninja Scroll, Blood - the last vampire, the ghost in the shell movies have some action too... If you dont mind OVA's I can strongly recommend the Hellsing Ultimate OVA's Lots of violent fighting and beatdown :] But in my experience most of the really good fighting sceens are found in series ^_^  Last edited by Xami; 05-19-08 at 04:59 AM. | ||

Apocalypse zero OVA 1 and 2, fist of the north star the 1986 movie,Devilman the apocalypse of amon, these are some of the most violent anime movies that show martial arts in most fantastic way  | ||

Why dont you try Appleseed and Appleseed: Ex Machina? Im sure anyone wud appreciate the beauty of the animation and really nice firefights too.. and the story is also likeable. | ||

The Cowboy Bebop movie has some of my favorite action sequences ever. It's just awesome in general.

I'm a big fan of anime movies...so I can say that i have watched all anime movies that released including all the anime movies other members recommend....for me, the best action fighting anime movie is karas. it consist of 2 movie...proplhecy n revelation...appleseed, paprika is ok too but cannot beat karas....oh, the duration of karas movie is about 5 hours..long but very satisfied...
