hi there,

what anime series are you currently watching whereas you don't really enjoy them anymore?

I would go for D.GRAY-MAN, I thought it was funny at the beginning, then I thought it would stop, at last, around episode 52
but no, it kept on being fansubbed, and I kept on watching every episode

now episode 95 will be out soon, I fear many episodes are yet to come, and I'm too weak to quit because I just want to know how it is going to end

so I'm watching this series because I always have 20 minutes to spare now and then

I watched Samurai Deeper Kyo months ago, it was really bad, but kept watching it cuz I wanted to know what happens in the end. I regretted this however, cuz even the end was so crappy that it left me with no brains.

Naruto is included too as I watched the whole filler and Shippuuden thing after I have lost interest, quit it in episode 50 I think, and read the manga instead. Now I'm thinking of quitting the manga too.

Prolly naruto and bleach, theyre a bleeding heart i wanna see put to an end. Ever once and a while we see a fight!

I figured out that the best animes usually have like 13 episodes maybe 25. But then you want those ones to continue!

I find it easier to watch 12-25 eps, even if the series is not that great

on the other hand, I could no finish LUCKY STAR and SOUSEI NO AQUARION

ahhh i used to watch inuyasha, and still do sometimes (movies)
but i really got bored of it 2 years ago. and since the time it ended i just watched them over and over again, lmao

I noticed the posts going a wee off course from the original topic, too, but didn't say nothing

I should drop those last episodes of Lucky Star, Sousei and Shion, but I just keep them somewhere because I want to know how it ends, just like the other posters, or so it seems


I guess this thread would best apply to long-running series -instead of 10-25 episode series.
why oh why do some of us keep on watching (a) series that we don't really enjoy anymore? and what would those series be?


we had the obvious Naruto and Bleach, what about One Piece, anyone? I know it has a zillion episodes, but I never watched any of it
or GUNDAM maybe? MACROSS? anyone out there wh would watch every single series no matter how awful some of them are (or might be, I have no idea, never watched any Gundam stuff)


when I was a teenager, I did watch each and every episode of DRAGON BALL Z, even though during the early Cell arc (after Trunks arrival, methink) I had completely lost interest. I just wanted the fights. nothing more, because I already knew how it would end thanks to the manga

Ahh One Piece, it's a really good series. Despite the fact that it's quite repetitive Eiichiro Oda never ceases to amaze. But I have to admit the current arc isn't as good as Barque Works and CP9 ones. Almost as good as Skypia ark, which is inferior to the other 2.
