Reading Manga now.. instead of watching. Takes too long.
I can have the story from Manga under 15 mins. Watching takes a freaking 30 mins and going no where!

Yeah the fillers can be pretty stupid, but I still managed to watch every single episode that I can only DL in english. I would really like to watch the rest of the shippuden in english only.

I stopped after seeing the first few episodes of the original series.
It's really just not my type. And it's not even that it's "cool" to hate Naruto, it's just it has nothing for me.
The plot? Nothing good. The characters? Extremely generic (IMO). The action? I suppose is quite good.
And something I really concern myself with when watching anime/reading manga: The art. Naruto is...artistically mediocre.

I stopped during the fillers, but i have actually started watching again.
And it's quite amusing now to be honest.

I read the manga every other week.. but the shows.. yeah. too many fillers. The stations or what who ever it is.. there making tons of money because of all the draw from teens.. so they fill it up to get more commercial money. It should just end. Finish the manga off also.. then make one freaking movie with no fillers and way better animation... and no freaking spin off!

I do wanna see the lost tower movie.

stopped watching it after naruto turned four tails against orochimaru and kabuto, the series aint the same any more the animation quality compared to the original series is a joke and its lost its energy and fun now all we get is boring drama and opera music.

I just read the manga now as it still feels like the original series plus NO FILLERS lol

Aside of the fillers... I became so f*ckin bored with it.... I stopped watching it when Chiyo died... that was the time when I realized I had lost more than a 100 hour on a crappy series.... Since then I've lowered my anime doses... A LOT...

The fillers killed it for me too, just like the Bleach fillers did.

I still watch but it's more skimming really. Characters and plots are extremely weak, imo, with Shippoden. Even with the fillers characters still seem devoid. The pacing is not great at all too and serves only to hinder the above. The latest movie was pathetic but at least it gave them the money they wanted.

But what can you expected when your favorite anime explodes. You need to do whatever you're "told" to make more money. This includes making tons of fillers, stretching out important events, producing movies that make you go "huh" and such...you guys know...copy DBZ :) You remember Dragon Ball where you waited 2-3 weeks for one fight to happen :D

I lost interest in it and in bleach about 9 months ago. The quality of the animation, the writing, and the pace of the series is just not worth watching. I have gone back and started watching some of the classic anime again.
