So is the anime version going to include all this or no?
Will the anime end with the Lost Substitute Shinigami arc and not follow this last arc?

Again, it has been officially stated the anime ended with yesterday's episode. So yes.. It's over unless they decide some day to start it up again but the manga is still ongoing. This isn't rumor. Read the first link below. If you watch the last episode you definitely get that it's over feeling and the goodbyes, etc. Code: Select All http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2012-02-23/bleach-tv-anime-ending-on-march-27 Code: Select All http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Bleach_episodes#Season_16:_Lost_Substitute_Shinigami_.282011-2012.29 |

I'm preety sure the anime is going to continue. "As of March 27th, 2012 episode 366 will be the last episode of Bleach to Air on TV Tokyo. It is now scheduled to Air on TV Osaka starting with episode 367 on Tuesday April 3rd, 2012. The yet to be verified time slot is 6:30pm jst (UTC/GMT +9:00) on Tuesdays." It only ended on that specific station :) |

Ichigo smiles then the words "THE END" just fade into the screen. That would be a horrible ending lol ![]() I totally agree with you |

Again it's over. I looked on Osaka's schedule up through next week and there is no Bleach. If they show anything it will be reruns. They aren't making new eps and it would have to be filler at that. Way too close to manga. There is no filler starting not now not anytime soon. This is the best way to end this.. They put out an official statement saying it's done. Until they release an official statement stating otherwise. it is over. rumors and random posts do not > official statements from kubo's mouth. Last edited by lvicious; 04-06-12 at 04:23 PM. |

I'm of mixed feelings with the ending - sad about it, but very happy about the loose ends being tied up. Two I am most interested in are Isshin and Ichigo. Isshin - I have suspected his disappearance was related to the Royal Guard, so I'm really pleased to see I wasn't alone on that score. Not sure how that theory will pan out but, we'll see. If it turns out that Masaki was part of the family he was guarding and they ran away together blah, blah, blah, I might scream...all the while resisting the urge to shake my computer. Ichigo - There HAS to be a reason why Yamamoto bent his rule to return Ichigo's shinigami power other than the "repay a debt" reason that was given. I just couldn't believe that especially since we wasted a lot of time watching Rukia's near execution for that very thing. Also, having everyone donate some spiritual energy was a bit much. I'm really hoping Ichigo isn't going to turn out to be a lost prince character, but after reading the original post, it would make a lot of sense if Ichigo (and by necessity, Isshin) were related to the royal family. I also can't wait to see his relation to Kaien in all this. Other than that, it'll be fun to see the bits and pieces come together. |
