soz if this has already been done or if im posting this in the wrong section but this is my theory and i rekon it's pretty solid.

k we all know obito was crushed by the rock hey. now i think he was either saved or closed to death and then some one saved him say zetsu. he then brought him back to akaski.

Now at this time orochimaru is in akaski. Also remeber that by the time orochimaru leaves akaski and fight the 3rd he has already done the body/soul transferring x2 ( orochimaru says it in eps 72 at 13: 25 sec roughly) and we know he did one on himself but the other one is unknown. i rekon he did it on mandara with orbito as the container

so my theory is mandara got orochimaru (when he was part of akaski)to do the body/soul to transferring technique to him with obito body as the container. hence why he is young enough to be the same age as kakashi and has his right eye. and everything else just falls into place if you think bout it.

also mandara prob change his name to tobi so he could resurface in akaski while secretly being the leader so he doesnt have to worry about anyone trying to back stab him ect

The title itself is a spoiler, but well Tobi is Madara. Whether he is having Obito's body or his own body.
Besides, Madara/Tobi explained the story/history of Uchiha to Sasuke and there wasn't this "taking Obito's body" part.

Considering. obito was a kid when kakashi stole his eye... mdaras new "obito" body would be a kids body.

dude.....ur theory dosent make sense

orochimaru can only use the soul transfer jutsu on himself to shift his soul from one body to another.....he cant use it to transfer other ppls souls into different bodies........its a jutsu that has to be mastered by the user and can be used only on himself

madara is tobi and tobi only..not obito.....why the hell would uchiha madara want his "NEW BODY" to be one that was crushed by boulders

were does it say that orochimaru can only use it on himself he could use it on another person.

also mandara would want a uchiha body for the sharinga blood limit. also keeping in mind that he might of know trough itachi that the clan was gonna be wiped out.

Well even tho there are a lot of similarities. There is no solid evidence.
There are some other things like Madara only shows his right eye from under the mask wheres Kakashi got Obitos left eye, the fact that madara wares metal plating on the right part of his body, which is the same part that obito had crashed by a huge stone and such.
But as long as there is no solid evidence this will just be a theory.

There is also a few other things to consider such as the fact that madara should be quite old. The theird hokage was a kid when madara was in his prime, so madara should be really old by now, a body shift would explain how he would be able to keep a nice body shape.

I have looked much into this theory and I am intruiged by it, but I don't think there is any shred of proper evidence to claim this as a fact ^^ So for now please just call it a conspiricy or what ever you would like
