Default New to anime, recommendations needed....

So far i've watched the anime movie "Ninja Scroll" and the anime tv series "Hellsing". Both of them were fantastic, I really enjoyed them and it has made me want to see more. Right now i'm looking to get some more anime movies and tv series to get into and I would appreciate some advice on what to check out. Here's another couple of things to hopefully help you help me....

I prefer dubbed anime (dubbed well, not cheesy)
I have the following anime movies already (haven't watched them though)...

Ghost in a shell
Akira
Vampire hunter d: bloodlust

that's about it, thanks.

Series
Full Metal Alchemist - the anime that started me off
Death Note - I prefer subbed these days but the dub of this one is great
Initial D - Japanese mountain drift street racing, if you like that, you'll like this

Movies
Akira is great watch that ASAP sine you've got it
Howl's moving castle - probably the closest thing to a mainstream anime we've got but really good

All of those have fairly good dubs

I have quite a few, Death Note, Bleach, Full Metal Panic, Full Metal Panic Fumoffu, Full Metal Panic The Second Raid.
Area 88 is also very good though I haven't really watched much of it.
Rosario + (or to) Vampire is also high up on the list.

Wrong. Yu Yu and Steel is mostly about fighting. Nothing about girls in Junior. Kodomo No Omocha was just intresting even though the animation isnt that great.

As everybody said, Death Note is a must watch. Also I've got some stuff for you, dunno what type of anime you like, so to know if they're your type or not look in AniDB or Anime News Network

1. Sword of the Stranger(Movie). No dub yet I think
2. Naruto, Bleach and One Piece are good for starters, but they get boring sometimes due to fillers and their massive length. Try avoiding One Piece's dub, Naruto's and Bleach's are not so good I heard, but OK.
3. Hajime no Ippo. There's a dub, but no idea whether it's good or not.
4. Monster. No dub I think
5. Samurai Champloo. I heard it had a great dub.
6. Kekkaishi. No dub I think
7, Hunter X Hunter. No dub
8. Mushishi. It's dubbed by FUNimation, so it wouldn't be a bad dub.

I myself recommend you to watch all subs instead of dubs as they are always better(except in very rare cases).
