Mine was Sailor Moon, it came out in the mid-90's. It was great, I started watching the whole series again about 2 or 3 years ago seeing as how the English version was never fully released in the US.

Probably Voltron although at the time I didn't know it was the english version of GoLion

I don't think I can remember... but I'm pretty sure it was Sailor Moon. (At the time I was watching it I didn't know what anime and manga were... I just lumped them with cartoons).
But then again I was watching Voltron along the same time also... so it could be Voltron too...

Same for me. Though, I think pokemon might have been my first since I do remember waking up Saturday mornings on that one channel just to watch it (KidsWB?). Then again, I do remember watching DBZ on Cartoon Network's Toonami.

Atlas Ufo Robot(aka. Grendizer) in Italy late 70's. It was my first introduction to Anime and it blew my mind away and the rest of Italy/France as well.
