Taotao ehonkan sekai doubutsu-banashi ... or Tao Tao as it was called in Austrian television when I first saw it in... boy... 1984. Then nothing until Studio Ghibli's "Castle in the Sky" in 1986, and finally I returned to "rediscover" anime with ElfenLied (German for Elven song) and "Spirited Away". Big fan ever since, working my way through all the classics right now. cheers.

Full metal Alchemist:Brotherhood was the first anime I've watched. after that i kinda went into overdrive mode and been watching as many series as i could find.

Dragonball Z!! :) although technically i had no idea it was an anime at the time, it wasn't until i watched bleach that i discovered what DBZ actually was..lol
