What's the first Anime series you ever watched?

Speed Racer - back in the seventies.

Then Battle of the Planets, Star Blazers, Robotech.

Ghost in the Shell (the original), was the first serious anime I saw and made me a real fan and Cowboy Bebop hooked me for life.

I really can't remember, but if I think back far enough, it was most likely Pokemon, or Digimon, followed by Dragonball Z, then Ronin Warriors.

It's either Neon Genesis Evangelion on late night TV or Pokemon/Sailor Moon on morning kids TV. Both were airing round the same time in the late 90s ...

Wow I feel old. The first anime I prob saw would be Voltron since it came out in 83 and I remember getting up real early like before sun rise as a little kid no older then 6 in 1985 just to watch Robotech. But both are really just American mutations of there respected Japanese origins having little in common with them other then the actual animation.

can't really remember, but some of them are doraemon, dragon ball, macross, genesis climber mospeada, voltron.

anime back then were much simpler and straightforward fun/action. these days anime are more complex, full of dramas and dialogs. how i miss those days. lol, guess i'm old.
