Who is the funniest character in anime you have watched?

Keitaro from Love Hina made me laugh when I first watched it. I don't get the same feelings anymore though :D

Takamura from Hajime no Ippo. I know his sense of humour gets a bit out there at times but I can't help but laught. And Onizuka from GTO, funny guy.

Gintoki From Gintama, not even a competition. There's a reason it's such a successful comedy anime.
He's also 5 times funnier for those of us that are smart enough to understand the word puns.

Most of the characters on here are more funny by action/obvious things. Personally, I think the funniest characters have a less obvious humour to them. Something that's hard to remove and replicate outside a culture.

Definitely have to agree there gin is hilarious but especially with the added stupidity of shinpachi and kagura
