Default E3 2012

This thread is for people to talk about this years E3. Talk about anything that happened at E3.
After the first day, my highlights have to be Watch Dogs, Assassins Creed 3, and The Last of Us (trailers below).

Watch Dogs (seems like the demo was on a PC and played with a 360 controller):

I can tell you that I really really liked the cutscene/gameplay video for Halo 4. WOW. I may just have to buy an xbox 360 now. As far as Nintendo putting too much emphasis on the controller, meh...I hope they give all the juicy details about the actual console itself. That controller won't mean a damn thing if the console sucks. I've been interested in The Last of Us for quite awhile now, plus I'm missing out on the Uncharted franchise, Killzone, and Resistance. But so far I don't own any consoles, not even handheld unless you count my android phone lol. Dead Space 3 is looking mighty fine *whistles* I am eager to know more about the Wii U and what kind of graphical power it will bring to the table. Also the potential for software/hardware mods

I was lookign forward to halo 4 the most, don't know how i feel about what they showed i guess im looking more for multiplayer info and wether there gonna destroy halo again like they did in reach, but def some awsome footage assasin creed 3 cut scene was pretty badass, splinter cell seems more or less like the previous, tomb raider looks like a uncharted game, dead space wasn't very impresed looks like they took the scary out n made it just cover system shooter, the new forza seems different seeing that forza 3 n 4 were pretty much the same game. I don't know how anybody else feels about this but why r they trying to merge a tablets/handhelds and console witht that microsoft glass is there really a need for it. I can't see myselft looking at 2 screens and holding 2 different things in my hand and i can't think of any way this would benefit to hardcore games maybe kids game i guess. Thoughs anyone?

Lol, I thought that the girl in "The Last of Us" looked a lot like Juno, but then I find out that she's actually in Beyond. Crazy.

They slightly altered the girl's look in The Last of Us. Look back to the original teaser which came out some months ago and she looks even more like Ellen Page!

Nothing has really struck out at me this year at E3 so far. Microsoft's big announcement was Smart Glass? I like they way they imply that everyone has an HDTV, smart phone and tablet, as if it's the norm. It's a fairly cool concept though and probably trying to steal some thunder from the Wii U's interactive tablet on their controller.

Watch Dogs looks great. Really like the atmosphere of it and the sci-fi elements. Looks like the main guy is running about hacking everything with an iPhone :P Wonder where you can get that app.

Halo 4's demo was pretty flipping sweet, far cry 3 is getting better the more i see it, and today i watched footage from Skyrim's first expansion pack Dawnguard with Todd Howard confirming it will take about 10-20 hours to complete.

Yeah so far that's what I'm excited for, also getting to see Pikmin 3 on the Wii U was pure joy since it's been 8 years since the last one came out and this one looks awesome.

The Last of Us was a great trailer. Really thought I was watching a movie... It had some nice moves. You know there was no other outcome for that guy in the end other than to have his head blown off. XD

A little disappointed in Nintendo. Would have really liked to see muh Zi-Zelda and Smash Bros. :(

That other game Beyond: Two Souls looked good. Is that the actress from Inception that's playing the voice role of the main character?

The Last of Us was pretty good, but I just hate single platform only releases. Ahwell, I hope the next generation consoles get announced soon so we can get our 360 and ps3 emulators.

Edit:
But so far, my favourites are Watch Dogs and Star Wars: 1313.
