Default Microsoft E3 Conference - Your Impressions... Hopes for Sony's?

I thought Microsoft's E3 was decent it showcased some good games. Splinter Cell: Blacklist, South Park: The Stick of Truth, and Tomb Raider were a couple that looked cool.

Microsoft Glass seemed kinda dumb. A lot of the features are available if you desire then to be already except that bit with Game of Thrones but that alone isn't enough to sell me on it...

I also like how Matt Stone and Trey Parker shit on Microsoft Glass when they showed off South Park, as well!

Hoping Sony will have some awesome Vita news, Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation is one game I want to see from Sony (or Ubisoft) for sure.

Resident Evil 6 looks so garbage btw.

Obviously they saw that Sony has the ability to do what Nintendo is doing and Microsoft didn't want to miss out. This seems like a way of them to just have a heads up on Nintendo ideas before they get big.

The ONLY thing that excited me was Tomb Raider and South Park and most likely only South Park could be a Xbox exclusive, though I doubt it will be.

Thought was terrible someone needs to remind them it's a GAMING EXPO.

I was not expecting much job listings will tell you most of there studios are working on a the new console. It would been nice to have whole conference about games though and them have some form of separate media conference.

It was pretty poor to be honest. I was confused why the new Gears of War game wasn't a main topic of the conference. E3 isn't really the place to showcase multimedia features, they should have learned from last year to just focus on games.

I don't get this "Tomb Raider looks like Uncharted" talk going on? The latest game is more cinematic than previous games but it's not an Uncharted clone.
Tomb Raider has been around for 16 years and if anything Uncharted was inspired from it.

SP game is not an exclusive to the 360. It's going to be available on PS3 and PC too.

I'm definitely going to buy the game on PC. I've been a south park fan for quite a long time, no way in hell I'm going to miss this out. The concept of the game looks like a joy of fun.

I can tell you that I really really liked the cutscene/gameplay video for Halo 4. WOW. I may just have to buy an xbox 360 now. As far as Nintendo putting too much emphasis on the controller, meh...I hope they give all the juicy details about the actual console itself. That controller won't mean a damn thing if the console sucks. I've been interested in The Last of Us for quite awhile now, plus I'm missing out on the Uncharted franchise, Killzone, and Resistance. But so far I don't own any consoles, not even handheld unless you count my android phone lol. Dead Space 3 is looking mighty fine *whistles* I am eager to know more about the Wii U and what kind of graphical power it will bring to the table. Also the potential for software/hardware mods, oh yeah, definitely looking forward to Tomb Raider!

I fell asleep not even a full hour into it .......

This was by far the most boring M$ E3 media briefing in Microsofts gaming history.

What got me thinking is the sheer amount of apps, services and stuff that has nothing to do with playing games anymore. XBOX is no longer a gaming console, it's a freaking e-commerce platform right in your living room, annoying the crap out of you with more and more ads/commercials, that happens to be able to play some last gen games.

Well done Microsoft, well done. Plan announced in the very late 90's perfectly executed over a period of almost 15 years. Can't really complain, they've always said the console is just their way of getting into peoples living room, getting rid of the tech image the Microsoft brand always had.
