Officially this is not called slim. Its Just called Playstation 3 120gb, slims just the nickname. Ive got it and its soooooo kool! All i need to do now is buy a hd ready TV but no problem i can pick one up new toshiba for 150 pounds!!!

are you able to still play ps2 games on the new ps3's???

According to the manuals that come with it and from what I have seen, you cannot play PS2 games on the new slim PS3. My manual says that I can apparently play PS1 games, but since I don't have any I cannot test it out.
