Anyone interested in the Xenosaga: Episode 1 cutscenes?

There are 3 hours of cutscenes in SD quality from the Special Edition bonus disc.

Ok, I'm uploading them right now. They're of higher quality than Blue Laguna's, their quality is actually very close to the source (the SE DVD):

They are of higher resolution, bitrate and double the audio fidelity (Blue Laguna's are 22.05KHz mine are 44KHz). Blue Laguna's are also lacking the Japanese soundtrack I included (but I made the English one to play by default).

I will post again when the uploading process has been completed.

Welp, gotta say thanks again for your dedication to high-quality video game media! Btw, DeltaForceSFODD is almost finished with his pcsx2 version of MGS3 and, speaking of that emulator, another YT member has done Shadow Of The Colossus if anyone is interested:

For MGS3, there are still some bugs and IMO it's best to wait until they're fixed. Or else you have to redo them from scratch when these are finally fixed.

PS2 games are 5+ years old.. surely we can wait a bit longer for the developers to fix the remaining bugs? PS2 emulation has improved tremendously and if it continues this way I suspect that in a year's time it will be much much better.

It's nice to have HD versions of cutscenes for viewing on youtube but IMO if you plan to capture (and distribute them) for archiving purposes you should make sure that they are as glitch-free as possible.

Yeah the MGS3 one's have a few problems with reflections (and of course there's no post-processing for a better framerate) and the SOTC have a few issues with the shadows. I have over 500GB of game cutscenes/media for my own viewing but the best quality without question comes from here.

Yeah I bought the biggest laptop I could find (back in 2008 mind you) which plays Bluray but the rez is still only 1440x900; I'm still using an old CRT 32'' to play games lol.

Nooo LOL :D I meant that the monitor screens inside the MGS3 game-world when emulated display garbage :D
The same garbage as the bad reflection on the water.

Nothing wrong with monitor screens in the real world (TM)

I posted this in the Xenosaga thread as well but I noticed that the entire part where Shion and the survivors get rescued by the Elsa is missing!

Edit: Comparing these to bluelaguna's runtime it appears that about 2 hours is missing :( Oh well.

I am not familiar with the game..... at all, so I can't really help you.

I guess they didn't include it on the DVD? Everything that was on it, I got it ripped and posted.

At which chapter (1, 2, or 3) should that happen?
