Unfortunately, it is not possible  The R4DS is a Slot-1 card and GBA roms can only run from Slot-2 cards.

ah ok thanks, is there not a similar thing to the r4ds for the slot 2 card that you can buy?

That's what I'm using as well.. I got the R4DS Revolution and a EZflash 3in1. It's a great flashcard, because it also has a rumblepack function as well as a memory expantion pack! You should get the 3in1 if your getting a GBA flashcard..! | ||
