Because of price point PS3=the best media device for the home and the better system for the upcomming years...
XBOX360=current better game crop and online community.

At the moment the xbox has a better catalogue of games but the PS3 is a better system and has more of the games that I want to play. I prefer the ps2 exclusives oer the xbox ones. so my choice was easy.

truth be told xbox360 have a decent games yes that i know. But if you really want to buy a console is i tell ps3 have a kids and mature games. xbox360 only have rpg game not alot of adventure games on it. but ps3 have a best games ever it has a rpg, adventure, and shooting games. I don't know if your a fun for a kingdom hearts, ps3 will have it too. IT WILL ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS3 10/10 SCORE XBOX 360 5/10 SCORE | ||

I have an xbox 360 but I think I'm going to get a PS3 in the very near future. My biggest factor in buying it is the free online multiplayer, and these epic games I keep hearing about...resistance2? killzone2? uncharted 2? :) ..Never really was a big fan of halo or gears series.

I think Xbox 360 has a hard time using TVersity, the streaming software which in almost all cases works perfectly on PS3. I don't own a PS3, but I never got it to work with my 360.

yeah i picked ps3, bluray player, exclusives i care about (sorry but i never liked halo or gears, good games but a bit over rated imo) plus im a big fan of the gt, mgs, god of war, RC and naughty dog's work, pluz killzone 2 multiplayer was pretty addictive. oh yeah a built in wireless adapter and free online play is a big plus as well, subsricption of any sort sucks lol

i didnt see an option for neither :P 360 is closest to playing backup games, but the kids still gotta insert an original... i aint putting any system around my 4yo that he has to touch discs, still sticking with the xbox original and wii | ||

although i have an xbox360, ps3 is a better device than xbox... first of all xbox is a ms product, that is enough to be sure it will crash one day :) second and the most important thing, ps3 has better technical specs... ...but of course project natal may change the result | ||
