Also, if you have the 4gb model like me you have the option of using your 360 hdd tray and elimination the need for a external drive. Simply get a sata extender cable ($6) and a 2.5" hdd (prices vary). Disconnect the sata to esata cable inside the wasabi and bypass it with the sata extender cable and connect it directly into the 360 hard drive tray. That way everything is internal and the 360 itself powers the hdd for you. You also need to purchase a 360 hdd case ($6) and a portable hdd case (prices vary). To install games you just pull the hdd out and pop it out of the 360 hdd case and place it in the portable hdd case and connect to your computer.
I was going to do it to the 250gb one that I have, but I think I'll do it to the 4gb one now so it can all be internal. Do you recommend a site to buy it all off of that ships to canada?

I bought mine from
http://www.divineo.com/magento/wasabi-x360s-solderless-drive-emulator.html
there in Canada, it is still back ordered but think next shipment is supposed to be in at the end of the month. $99+shipping , have yet to get mine so no comment on their service.

I found a place in Edmonton that sells and installs them for 160cdn. I have to go up next week anyways, might just drop it off and let them do it while I'm up there.

A 160 ? If your paying that much I would really reconsider go somewhere cheaper you could RGH for less and that is better.

That's about $50 for install, seems fair.

I'm getting this plus the jtag for $100cdn. He said if wanting to use external storage this is the way to go cause it's cheaper and more options.

You don't need wasabi + jtag (rgh ) RGH does everything wasbi does but more, you only need one exploit.

Sorry, guess I should have been more clear. I'm getting the rgh, didn't realize that jtag was the same thing.

Putting a 1.5TB Seagate in it. :)
Is there a way to put a switch in it so on the odd chance I want to play one of my legit games from disc online it won't get banned?

IF you got RGH you can ask whoever doing it for you set up a duel nand to switch between original and the modified dash. Most would charge you extra for this.

I think I'm gonna skip on the dual nand. I was going to sell the 2nd xbox but I'll keep it for the odd time I want to go on Live.

I just hope the 1.5TB fits in the stock factory HDD spot, damn it's thick!

I got the cool runner installed with Freestyle dash, this works great.
For anyone that gets a 1.5TB Seagate drive though, these do NOT fit in the slim case. Even in the bottom part of the case it won't slide into the hard drive bay, just too think. But if you put it in without any case it fits and works perfectly.
