Hi!
I really liked the SEGA Megadrive, but my favourite console (from former days) was the Sony Playstation 1. This console has a great amount of good games.
Best regards!
H.M.

I've owned almost every console going, right back to the Atari 2600 but it's hard to pick a favourite as they all have stand out games. I do remember being blown away by Mario 64 though, it took gaming to another level.

I agree with bradiculous Dreamcast that had flawless ports from the Arcade but i don't know if its truly old school. SNES awesome games and a great library. N64 great games as well Golden eye StarFox64. I loved the Panasonic 3D0 games like Road Rash Need 4 Speed Super Street Fighter II Turbo etc. NEOGEO expensive but good and the controllers were awesome NAM 1975 Samurai Showdown Super Sidekicks etc. Commodore Amiga had some great games as well. I could go on and on.

Sega Genesis. I always got mad when folks claimed the SNES pwnd the Genesis. I disagree, Genesis had more style, better games, and more style...(did I mention more style?) This is until about 1995 when games like Donkey Kong Country began to display the power of the SNES cause clearly, a game like that wouldn't have even ran on the Sega Genesis - not enough power. Plus, Killer Instinct? Whhhhhaaaa? That game was also sick and proved the SNES was indeed better than Genesis from the beginning. It just took game developers that much time to figure out how to crank all that juice out of that little grey box.

I liked the Dreamcast and wish I never sold mine. I still have a Soul Calibur ROM that I play on PC using NullDC which is a decent DC emulator. Soul Calibur is an excellent game they should hurry up and port the sequels to PC already I'm sure the market would be bigger than just me.

For me, the NES is the best old school console. I love Super Mario 3, Super Contra and Gradius. And Punch Out! Kind Regards

I also remember playing Starfox too. And yeah my poor N64 and all my games were given away.. despite the fact that I paid for it... =( Anyway, I also had a PS1 (after the N64) which had a mod-chip so I could play burnt games. That was cool since I could rent games and copy them for much cheaper than buying them hehe.. =)

No doubt, I'm a Huge fan of N64, but I do say that the Original PS1 was amazing for FFVI, Man that was a lot of wasted hours back then.

Really it was hard to pick. I like Voldo a lot - if you use the right buttons, man he's got some sick moves! In fact I like so many characters I should be mentioning who I DONT like instead, which are just a few (Sophitia, Lizard man - just don't like the moves they have available...except Sophitia's face-sitting moves, who doesn't like those lol) Also had Soul Calibur 2 on Xbox and Spawn was by far my favorite on that one.
