Is there any way to do it using an SD card or USB stick around 2g.... Really don't wanna have to buy a new memory stick for just this game.

Ya Thanks! Got it working... Didn't realize when you pull it over to USB using WBFS that it shrunk it down to the minimum size.... Thought you still needed 4.3Gig or whatever...

Thanks to all for your help and it works great... Plus this WBFS Manager is kinda cool... Might keep this around and get some larger USB drives anyway... This just works too damn good! Great game for sure....

If you're trying to load using a Disc, No. Loading this game with a disc is not working at all (and I did try adding IOS53). I ended up using USB Loader GX and WBFS Manager... Works great now... Awesome fun!

Use USB Loader GX.... You will need to also get WBFS and a SD dedicated to these games (it needs to be formatted to BFS format). Using WBFS open the iso image and import it to ur SD card. The WBFS will break the iso down to it's actual size (0.35G) and put it on ur SD. then u can use ur SD in a USB SD Reader in the back of ur Wii. Go to Homebrew, Load USB Loader GX and run Super Mario Bros... be sure to have Anti 002 fix - Yes and Force NTSC and all will work.... It worked flawlessly for me.

FINALLY.!
For all those trying to get this to work hang in there.!

I managed after quite a few days to get this to run correctly but alas not from a DVD but to be honest your better off not having a clutter of DVD's as I've just discovered.

Spent a while researching how to get one of my PC portable HDD to partion a section for the Wii games to placed in, ie partion as raw and then get a WBFS manager prog to format it for the Wii to make use of.

The key for me was to use the bottom USB port on the Wii and not the top one as this one does not seem to see the HDD, wierd but true. If your wii is standing up thats the left not right one.!

I decided to pop a few other games on for good measure and hay presto I even got the Jillian Michaels 2010 fitness prog to work as well despite being an NTSC release..

I have a PAL Wii with 3.4 etc..

Used Neogamma 7 and well the rest is as described in these other threads..

I also did not need to change any settings at all, I got green screen with mario for about 10 seconds before it runs up, but I can live with that.!

Hope more people get this to work and smell the coffee as far as using an external HDD for Game storage..

Keep the faith.!!

Hey cynder9792 i think i can help you there. I had the same problem while trying to get USB Loader GX up and running, and i corrected it by installing the 002 fix cIOS v14.
Just google: bl002 cios v14 waninkoko

Then install that through HBC. It allowed my wii to detect my flash drive
