Many thanks, took a few attempts to work, but otherwise is brilliant !
Second time updated Wad Manager 1.4 for 1.5 (putting it in /apps/ dir) and where require to the boot file, then it all worked !
Great tutorial and thanks again !

From.. 47)start anytitle deleter.. it's going wrong!
I cannot delete IOS222 and IOS223...
What's the top application at 52)?
Get errors with 'piracy protection'!
I used wadmanager 1.4 but cannot get usbloader and neogamma working
I downloaded wadmanager 1.5 and it freezes when I select ios249.
So I am half way!
Except from the issues above my Wii is still working ok.

HELP Please. Hey this is my forst post but I have been through the guide over and over again but am still left scratching my head why I am unable to uninstall Stub IOS 249...

Each and every attempt has either caused the Wii to Freeze and Lock the Controller or result in the following

[+} Opening “IOS249.WAD”, please wait… OK!
[+} Uninstalling WAD, please wait…

Please can someone help me - I have had this error using WAD Manager 1.4 and 1.5.

good point m8 i totally forgot about this step, u need to leave all of the files on the sd card except for the following, delete the boot.elf file and the wad manager.dol, and also go into the homebrew folder, then into private, then wii/title and delete the atkn file.........hope this helps, let me know mate

when you say delete the boot.elf file, is that the correct name? I dont have that file on the root of my sd card. I have a boot.dol file, a boothackmii.elf file, and a startup.elf file.
Is it one of these that should be deleted?

The other problem I'm experiencing is when I try to play a game from my usb flash drive using USB Loader. I've loaded the game from an ISO on my PC to the flash drive using WBFS Manager, and even though the ISO file is 4.37GB to begin with (on PC), when I copy it over it's showing as 0.62GB (on flash). Anyway when I put the flash drive into the Wii and start USB Loader everything seems to be ok and it even lists the game, but as soon as I select the game title and then click on the disc to play the game the screen just freezes and does nothing. I end up needing to unplug the power to the Wii to restart.

Please if anyone knows a solution to this please leave a post, I have already reverted back to factory settings from a previous softmod thinking maybe the problem was there, so I'm dissapointed to still be experiencing the same problem.
mind you this softmod tutorial was way way easier to follow than the previous one I used.

One last query.........can the SD card that was used for the modding also be used to hold and play games? I ask this as I used an 8GB sd card as it was the only one I had. It just seems a bit of a waste of space if it's only being used for the mod.

Having all files archived was very handy for me. I think it was a great ideea. Also the tutorial is pretty simple. Thanks once more!

Note: SD and SD2 archives (not sure which one, or both) need to be updated with Wad Manager 1.5 instead of Wad Manager 1.4. Neogamma also needs to be updated from v7 to v8.

I followed the guide accordingly but then at the end wad manager 1.4 coudn't install neogamma or anything else for that matter! so i replaced it with 1.5 but like the others previously said it freezes after selecting ios249. After that i tried wad manager v1.1 and 1.3 but the both of them i couldn't launch. Could someone please help....did I destroy ios249?
Can anyone help??? I have done everything EXACTLY. Please if you have an answer let us all know. Thanks so much.
