So for the past month, my xbox has constantly disconnected from live on a daily basis. It happens every 15-20 mins but I can reconnect immediately after disconnecting.
I have:
a wireless connection
90-95% signal strength
4 year old xbox elite
no more patience for this crap
Does this happen to anyone else?
Does anyone have a solution?

On your computer go to 192.168.1.254 (or whatever the configuration page is) Enter password ("broadband1" for eircom) Along the side, expand Network, then click on "Wireless Lan" On this page you should see Re Authentication Timer and Idle Timeout Timer, this is set to 1800 seconds (or 30 mins, if you do the maths) Set these to 7200 seconds (or 2 hours), or set it to 9999 (the maximum allowed) Click apply when it is set This sorted the problem for me, from trial and error. The Xbox requires a solid non interrupted supply of Internet, this why it cuts out, on a computer you would not notice this Re Authentication process |

Have you been playing MW3? Which is the only time we get disconnected from the servers.

If it doesn't you should always try going back to wired. If it still continues then you know it is because of your ISP (most likely) and therefore isn't anything you can do to fix it unless you report the fault to them.
