I got the game to start from the files you uploaded intrepid, but when i click anything at the main menu I get a crash. Maybe wrong crack version?

P.S.

anyone knows how to upgrade shogun 2 to fots? i don't want to download the game again because my net is very slow. :O

Probably. The exe was definitely updated since this release.

For fots, you just need to have the fots patch files (patch_fots.pack to patch_fots5.pack) in your data directory. The game apparently checks steam to see if you actually bought fots, but the crack should take care of that.

Oh I see, I didn't paste the patch_fots3-5.pack on my data folder because I didn't have patch_fots1-2.pack. Maybe that is the reason of the crashing. How big is patch_fots.pack and patch_fots2.pack? Can you upload it? Sorry for asking too many things sir.

I'm pretty sure that's not the cause of the crashes. People that bought Shogun but not FotS don't have the fots packs either, but every other file is the same. The crashing is almost certainly caused by the cracked exe in this release being incompatible with the newer patches, so you'll probably have to just wait for updated crack if you need the latest patches. That, or try the Phoenix method I mentioned above (no guarantees there either, though).

I see, thanks! Sir do you know what patchXX.pack (xx=number) should be removed to make it back to build 5436? maybe patch21.pack makes it to build 5520 which is like the build of your shogun.

The OP has up to patch18, so you could try removing everything after that. You may need to take out shader patches 10-13 as well.

tried removing, still no good, last resort is to have missing files which are
patch_fots.pack
patch_fots2.pack
patch_movies_fots.pack
patch_movies_fots2.pack
patch_movies5.pack

making it work is hard. haha.

EDIT: I'm using fairlight release. Downloaded the manifest.txt, read the logs and it said that many files were missing and size mismatch from the files at encyclopaedia. :O

Also, I dont have realplayer and still get a runtime error. I do have divx though. Does anyone know how to get rid of this nasty error? It is a r6030 CRT not initialized btw. Somehow I have gotten it to work twice now. But I still get the error a majority of the time.
