It seems that no one has resolved this problem with a feasible fix that works for everyone. I think we may be stuck waiting for an updated crack.

what release are you using? skidrow?

From my current knowledge it is a bad dll I have repaired, reinstalled, rebooted and such muliple times and it still wont work (all of my other games do) This is very strange, I cant seem to find a solution.

I think I have it fixed now :) I downloaded a thing called "Driver Genius" and ran it, you can find the full version on here for free :D It updated all of my drivers that needed to be updated, and I restarted. Now it is working (I hope)

haseo669,you got the dragonwar battlepack,it's fots's historical battles.You can find them historical battles option from main menu.

xspactsx,no.I installed skidrow' s fots.Waited some time for crackfix.When crackfix released i copied files but fots didn't start.I compared skidrow's fots crack and vovan1337's crackfix files.In crackfix folder one file was missing so i put the missing file from skidrow's crack folder to game folder.Problem solved.

Then in this topic patches released,first shaman.shaman then thecripple released the patch files.I put them to game folder and luckly game thinks these are mod files so they're working with crack and crackfix.

I don't get too much crashes.Original owners see crashes too beside all of these patches.Game is still buggy.The last patches mainly about performance rather then fixing bugs.After last patches from thecripple's links i got a huge performance.The loading times vey short now,in 3d battle zoomin and zoomout is faster,animations smooth.

As i said game has still bugs,in time they'll be fixed but it' hell of a game for samurai times.

If you didn't plat world in coflict and expansion pack soviet assult i strongly recommend it.It' like Wargame: European Escalation.

I have read your previous post, but before that i had copied the missing file to the gamedir even before the crack fix released (old crack)

Sorry for double post, the crash which i experienced on is on battle (Shogun 2 and ROTS), for the campaign , it worked fine. does anyoe experience same thing?

try running it in XP Service Pack 3 compatibility mode then run it as administrator.
