I lost my stats, but I have them backed up.... I copied and pasted them to the Profiles folder but the error "Your stats have been reset" happenes. Any tips?

ur stats i think are bided to ur serial number.So if u change it u will lose it.
I am not sure abt this but If u changed ur serial no. in the registry then restore it bak along with the backup of ur stats and it shud work fine

dont do this, you will get reset by steam. Just get a machine gun and spray everywhere. :) i level up 20 in three hours by that tatic :)

Where does steam come frm?
I thought Call of Duty 4 uses punkbuster.

just type "regedit" (without the quotes) into "run" on your computer. push the start button, then push run, and type in regedit.
