Are the CGI cut scenes in this release compressed? watching the opening cut scene was painful!

Thanks man! but its hanging right after I double click the game icon on my desktop. The game starts, well it goes to full screen and I see an animation appear and then it shrinks back down to a black square and just hangs... Could it be vista 64 incompatibility?
