1) Install SKIDROW version of MW2 and apply the SKIDROW CRACK that comes along with it on the 2nd DISC iso.
2) Download SPEC-OPS Lan Crack:

or
http://www.storage.to/get/0cw1Gko6/codmw2_lan_fix.rar
or
http://hotfile.com/dl/17551760/31a68...n_fix.rar.html
3) Sign onto steam (both host and player) (just make a bs account if you don't want to "risk" your account). OFFLINE MODE DOES NOT WORK.
4) Unzip all the files from the LAN crack into your cod directory
Server side (IF YOU WANT TO HOST):
-- Just run TeknoGods_MW2SP.exe choose spec-ops / two player online, choose one of the missions
Client side (FOR player 2 who wants to join host's game):
-- Create a shortcut for TeknoGods_MW2SP.exe with "--ip=[ip of server]"
...example...
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2\TeknoGods_MW2SP.exe" --ip=192.168.1.105
--The host needs to give you his IP address from which he is hosting the server (http://www.whatismyip.com/). If you are playing on LAN through a router then host needs to provide his LAN IP address (not WAN IP).
TO FIND LAN IP address:
go to start - run and type in CMD then press enter.
This opens the command prompt. Type in IPCONFIG /ALL and press return. This will give you the ip and physical address for every active network connection (wireless/wired) in your system.
For less info type in IPCONFIG and you get a truncated version.
Your internal address will be a non-routable address. Usually a 192.168.x.xxx or 10.x.x.x are the most common. You external address is usually dynamically assigned by your ISP, or you are paying for static IPs.
LAN IP address should be under "Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection" and named " IPv4 Address
-- Double click on that shortcut
-- Choose spec ops press F12 and you will be connected to the host's game.

DETAILS:
This works on the SKIDROW version of the game with the SKIDROW crack applied...meaning you do not need the RAZOR1911 crack to make this work. I have played this through a router on LAN with my roommates, and it runs perfectly. This should also work with HAMACHI if you want to play "LAN" with your friend who lives somewhere far away. Unfortunately, an internet connection is required in order to make this work because you must be signed onto steam.
