Also if you can't get playable framerates with either games I wouldn't bother, Crysis is made for higher end systems if your hardware's not up to snuff you might as well not waste your time....

I had low end system for Crysis with XP and had no problems (Have upgraded since)

In MY opinion Vista is your problem.
It is a pig.

New MS OS due 2010. That gotta tell you something.

But Crysis runs fine if you don't try to make it look over the top eye-candy wise.

run at 800x600 with everything on lowest setting and game runs fine.
Occasional stuttering during intense numbers of characters in one place.(during valley battle beneath alien mountain for example).
But remember not all systems are equal. Some older PC's run games better than more modern ones.

Warhead as stated earlier is using the game engine that is planned for Crysis 2, and testing by reviewers has found it is less resource intense compared to first engine. But not much less :)

Crysis was planned as a Trilogy so we have at least 2 more Crysis games to come + any expansions like this one.

Definately play Crysis first, as the story line will make more sense in Warhead, if you already know the basic plot.
The character you play in Warhead is also shown in Crysis, so you will find out where Warhead character went, when he went off on different missions from you during Crysis.

Played it all the way threw, quite disappointed as it's too short won't be buying this one.
