That is true, one can think of it being defined as bypassing security or DRM so it is fine. The better term might be emulation of the server.

Guild wars 2 will be out like in the summer. i will take Diabio 3 for now.

Do you know what protection have Assasins creed 2? How it works? And how long it takes to emulate all these codes? And now imagine game with thousands items and all dropped item will be verified on the game server... And that is not all. Monsters have similar AI protection. If is this type of protection used in the final game there is no reason to wait on crack.

Well, Whatever the case - Whether there will be or wont be a crack, Whether there will be or wont be server emulation, Now, Or in the future, It doesn't really matter to me, Since I pre-ordered the game on day one of the pre-order.

For my 2c, However, My bet is that it will take a fair amount of time, To get get any form of offline play happening.

Think of D3, Like WoW, Without a subscription fee...Only basic data is stored client-side...Maps, Towns, Dialogue, Animations, Cinematics, Sound Effects, Music etc.

All AI is handled server-side. 'Rolls' are handled server-side. Generally speaking, The mechanics are handled server-side.

This much has already been established, If you go through the myriad of posts, On the D3 forum. It will take a while, To be able to emulate all that code.

And amusingly enough diablo 3 will be harder to emulater than WoW ever was.

I will likely buy it despite the beta having been a steaming pile of crap that I honestly don't want blizzard to profit from in any way shape or form... I have to get it though as much as it pains me to finish the story.

What exactly was wrong with the beta? I played for the free weekend and thought it was great. Sure there was downtime and i wasn't able to connect, yet it should be expected from a beta. The whole point of the free weekend was the stress test the servers.

And your comment saying that it was garbage and you don't want blizzard to profit? what is that all about? Blizzard consistently makes good games. You just come off sounding a bit like a brat. Please don't take offence to this. I'm just trying to point out that a lot of people are quick to slam a developer for small inconsistencies, and fluff over the bigger picture.

If Blizzard starts churning out crappy games every 6 months like Activision/IW, then I would tend to agree that they don't deserve profits.

i relay wanted the collectors edition of diablo 3 but they r not releasing it in my country just the standard edition is available which pisses me off so im gona download the cracked one if there will be any and play it.. these game company just pisses me off.. they r the reason piracy exists..
