I think you are little confused here.

SCENE hackers are way more bad*** then you might think, they will make their own, better emu, probably in 1 week, by 1 month game will be playable, and in future any game with same protection will be much sooner playable.

The issue is not if a "crack" is available. A crack will do no more than let you into the login screen. The game needs to be emulated using a server emulator like Mooege. No, no one is developing an emulator in 1 week or 1 month. The Mooege project has been open source and running for many months and at best it was half working.

Piracy is like the new thing the government's focusing on to avoid having to deal with the economy. That's why Obama said last week that he's cool with gay marriages. It's another way of saying "please forget about the economy and bitch about gay marriage for awile"

As for D3, I am watching the crack's progress because I want to see it cracked...not because I want to play it, but because Blizzard screwed over their customers for this DRM, and they deserve to be screwed themselves. I'm glad I didn't buy D3, because server connection issues are one thing, but you actually have a ping in a single player game.

Come on guys. Not everyone is tech savy. They figure if they download the game they can play somehow. This is one of those game where you have to be on their server to play, which means you can't just download the game and play. Sorry, but someone will have to find a way to get around this. Right now all you can do is download and wait.

I don't think there will be a crack for this. Too much stuff is done remotely over the servers. And if there ever will be one, it will probably take months.

Assassin's Creed was an entire different beast. Diablo III is more like an MMO, so unless a group finds a way to emulate the server, it simply won't work.

Scene group have a lot of experience on server emulation, it just a matter of time.. as I said before, never give up!. And they WILL release a much better version than the blizzard's release as usual.
