@ m32183: There is nothing removed or ripped but the movies may have been downsampled. I can't say for sure as I haven't finished downloading this yet so I've not been able to check.

@ badviemy: Yes it should be possible to patch it. I've managed to patch some of Skullptura's releases before. But, as this game really needs a patch (it crashes very often) then I think Skullptura will either release a patch or give instructions on how to patch once one is available.

Thanks......Whats up with this hack business...I thought these rips are justs straight copies of the dvds. Are these games hacked/modified in any way....other then the copy protection being removed.......

Should I be concerned about anything!!!!!

A rip is not a straight copy of a dvd, that would be an ISO. When someone rips a game they try to make it as small as possible. Techniques can include removing music, speech and/or movies; downsampling audio/movies; converting textures to make them smaller.

With Skullptura's releases, he uses the tag 'full rip' or, more recently (after some earbashing I think), 'repacks'. This simply means that there is nothing ripped from these releases, although the movies & audio may have been downsampled.

In short, there's nothing to worry about. It's up to you whether you decide to go for a rip or ISO.

Thanks Cairbre......Think I'll wait for the multi iso.....If ever thats put up on mu in 1GB links....., Any idea why ppl split files into 200mb rather then the 1gb allowed for free users on MU. Its a real pain in the arse. I wish like hell i had time to dowload 30+ files.
