Well I've had that same setup failed problem, it goes through the entire install and then says setup failed.

I tried the data folder method shown here and it just went straight to setup failed after 17%, most probably because it couldn't find the files in the data folder.

I'm completely stumped, I've searched everywhere for a solution and it seems some people just end up with setup failed for some unknown reason. There's a bit of discussion on it here so I thought I'd add my 2c.

Has anyone here, who got setup failed, successfully used that data folder method? Because it doesn't work for me, or make much sense.

Dont bother with this release guys... I wasted all yesterday manually(as a free user) downloading them.. Once I had it downloaded, I followed directions, by making that Data folder and what not, and the first Setup failed at about 17%.. I deleted the unpacked data and tried again.. This time, it installed correctly, but I accidentally installed it in a folder on my desktop.. So I had to uninstall it and reinstall it in my specified folder.. It worked the third time too, so I started it up.. I started a new game, watched the first couple cutscenes, and to my dismay, it crashed right as I was about to get in game... I said "to hell with it" and went to bed, knowing I could always try again in the morning.. Now when I try to start a new game(I didnt get anywhere to save last time), I cant even see the cutscenes... It starts loading for a second, then it just locks up.. So I wasted all day yesterday only come out with this lemon.. I only chose this release in particular because it was only 13 download links... Not the usual 30+ links you see that would take me ages... But now I have to look for another MORE RELIABLE release... I know it's not the OP's work, so no hard feelings towards him, but I'm just pissed I wasted all that time for nothing...
