doesnt work, ive downloaded it, installed using "CD1", switched to "CD2" [or mounted disc1],, run ff8.exe, then it says inset disk1 in the program, ???? press action then it says wrong disc???????????????????????????????? wasted 2 hours of my life, ive got the game on psx but disc 1 is scratched badly!!!!!!! :@ i have resolved the issue , i fink...... You just need to open your registry (press Start > Run > type "regedit" and change the "Data Drive" into the driveletter you're using with your mounted disc. The key in your registry is "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareSquare Soft IncFinalFantasyVIII1.00" Last edited by dxrules44; 08-14-2008 at 04:04 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

I am probably being a huge noob here... But I've downloaded it now, and unpacked it and now I have no clue what to do. I have daemon tools, but it doesn't seem to be working. Any help would be appreciated :) |

Thank you ! This is a great game of all time ! Well, the FF's serie never let me down... P.S: Great job for the 200 MB links ! Content visible to registered users only. Join our free community today! No, I have just downloaded them and unpacked them. I have the folders CD1 to 5 now, but I don't know how to install them. Tried to see if I could mount them with Daemon tools, but that didn't work. Hence I am a little stuck |
