Was this even released on PC? That box looks fake as hell =P and EA games didn't make the game...Squaresoft did before they merged with Enix, as far as I understand. |

this game was released in PC Platform more than 7 or 8 years ago as i remember... and OF COURSE... DEFINITELY..100% SURE, NOT BY EA...haha.. i was playing it that time and confirm is 100% PC edition. but better go google about how to run it on nowadays PC and OS and you got some patch needa download before play. still, your chance of running it in XP are 50/50. but vista as i know...more issues will make you fed up  and uninstall... |

Thnks for the share works on vista and xp you have to go to regedit/HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Square Soft, Inc/FINAL FANTASY VIII/1.00 then click on the right mousse button on DATADRIVE and choose modify,change the letter c: wich is there by default to the letter of you virtual drive or CD drive if you burned the game and its done hope this helped |

Thanks for playing, I installed correctly, and I burned the five CDs, but I can not start it, that clicking sull'eseguibile ff8.exe, upload a video introduction, which lasts a while and then you can go forward. What should I do to be able to start the game from the second CD? I thank you for your reply |

I keep getting the error "! CRC failed in the encrypted file Final_Fantasy_VIII_FINAL-FLT_tehPARADOX.COM.part01.rar (wrong password ?)" after checking the password several times. Nevermind, I just downloaded part 1 again and unrared it successfully. That's usually the problem, but sometimes it's not. Thanks for the share! Ok, I've got everything uncompressed with the five CD folders, but for some reason, I can't get the images to work right. Daemon Tools, which I can't get to install so I downloaded an Agent-Only version, mounts it but Windows gives me an error that says "Windows cannot read from this disc. The disc might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with Windows." I've tried enabling/disabling all the emulation options, tried SCSI/IDE virtual drives, and nothing works. Can someone help me? |

Try burning the CDs and installing it from there instead. |
