Ok, I've got everything uncompressed with the five CD folders, but for some reason, I can't get the images to work right. Daemon Tools, which I can't get to install so I downloaded an Agent-Only version, mounts it but Windows gives me an error that says "Windows cannot read from this disc. The disc might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with Windows." I've tried enabling/disabling all the emulation options, tried SCSI/IDE virtual drives, and nothing works. Can someone help me?

Try burning the CDs and installing it from there instead.

I was averse to doing that since I had only 4 CDs left, but I burned just the install disc and it worked like a charm!

okay... I got a bunch of random files from these downloads... wheres the ISO!!!

Yeah i'm still working on it too. Got it all dl'd painfully lol. But still trying to figure a way to operate it without it saying "wrong disc" so going to try to find a burning program to burn the .bin and maybe that will help. Thanks for share btw. :]

Okk. figured a way out, without burning just using daemon. When you extract it you get cd1-cd5 cd1 is the install disk. So mount up cd1 first. Install it. After that you can delete cd1 if you want or keep it. after that open cd2(CD1) 001 file and extract the .bin .cue from it and mount it. Open ffviii. And do it each other time it asks for next disc
cd2 folder being cd1 cd3 being cd2 and so forth.

but so far it's working perfectly for me. saves some cd's and time.

Help i extracted from the rar cd1-cd5 and joined using hjsplit and i got only 1 file without extension. do i hav to rename it?

Open .001 with winRAR and extract, not HJSplit.

Hye all

i started playing everything was ok. until part where seifer comes in after meetin zell char n the teacher. the games just crash and ive tried diffferent option using software rebderer but to no avail. anybody expiriencing the same crash/ hav solution.
