EP2 works perfect as far as I could tell.

My only problem was with Portal. Basically the last chapter and abit ahead of where you meet the robot that breaks the glass I get crashed when it tries to save or whatever and after trying several times I gave up and tried to 'pass' the save part and see if I can carry on without it trying to load.

I finally got passed the corner using portals and jumping through the air but once I get to the other side there has to be some small vent to make a portal through but there is none in my version.. wtf? I looked everywhere and gave up and looked on youtube but they all seem to use the same little air vent that does not exist on my wall.

Can anyone confirm this?

Downloaded the megaupload links. All games work fine... however, half life 2 does have to rebuild textures or something at each loading screen"like 7 seconds" and for some reason I cannot join any nosteam servers for team fortress because the protocols being used are more up to date then mine. As for portal.. I tried it but I already have another stand alone version so I cant say wether it works throught out the entire game.

i can. i also just passed that area and when it was about to load the next level, it crashes.

I think when it was 'Saving' it was actually loading a new map. Then when you used portals to bypass the 'Loading' part, the parts of the map have not been loaded yet. Therefore missing airvent. Or something.

Also, would someone kindly tell me how do i join the csmania servers. When I Find Servers in TF2, all I get is a message saying 'Steam Beta must be installed to join server' or something to that effect.
