Same problem for me, it crashes after the car chase mission.

If game crashs after car chase, turn off occlusion in video options. It works!

no it doesnt work occlusion was not on and it crashed after car crash

i am to the mission finding faraz and then its black screen..........
after the car chase there was a slight delay but game returned

I got past the car chase, you have to enable permissions in regedit under valve.

I HAVE FOUND THE SOLUTION
START/DOCUMENTS/mohw & MOHW_DayOnePatch_PC/settings/PROF_SAVE_profile open it with notepad GstAudio.AudioQuality 4

it was 0 /1 make it 4 on both MOHW_DayOnePatch_PC & MOHW

origin is off always and i am using v3 cr@ck of FLT
video is 800*600 windowed mode 75 Hz
press ESC and a few times Enter key when black screen comes out after Finding Faraz

if the games freezes/crashes after the first car chase. try installing punkbuster, that worked for me.

now it crashes after car chase mission

edit: if you crash right after the car chase mission relaunch the game immediatly!
it started right up at the following cutscene! works good until now :P

if your game just shuts down and goes back to windows retart it, it restarts at the point you left, at least it did for me
