Hey guys,
I've been searching for it - but if you've been online and looked yourselves, you would have noticed that there aren't many sites that offer the "crack" for this particular version of the game. It's really unlucky that it hasn't been able to work for you two :[

This probably wont help much, especially for ChrisDaMagic, since you said that you've played all the other versions before...but for those that haven't been able to get it to work but still want to play SimGangster, you can consider playing V2 of the game - released back in 04/05. It's not the latest version but I think it's better than not being able to play it at all :P

Here's the alternative that I've planned out with instructions:

As I said, this isn't the latest version of the game, it's just a mere alternative for those new players that haven't been able to get the posted version 1.0.2481 to work.

Also, I urge those other users who are experiencing problems with the download links that I post, to PM (send Private message) to me because it's the only fast-track method that I will be alerted about the problem because I tend to "miss" the posts that I make. Of course, the sooner I know of the problem - the sooner I can try to remedy it.

Hey, thanks, Arden. I'm going to check it out right now. But read this weird discovery-My Mother restored our laptop, the one I have been playing simGangster and testing the links you gave me for the full version. I been installed it and uninstalled it before and it was not on my computer right when we restored it.

Right after we restored it, I tried the links you gave me again and the game worked! It really worked! But then I restarted my computer and went to play it again and it was deja-vu all over-clicked to play-nothing even showed up.

I opened the windows task manager as I tried again and it seems simGangster pops up in the processes list and dissapears! Weird...indeed.

So I'm going to wait until WinSite speeds up so I can get the trial and check this one out.

That is quite strange. I've never seen that happen before...maybe V2 might work *fingers crossed*.

Whoa...simGangster is out to get me on the real. I installed it and did the right procedures and it did not work at all. Thanks, Arden but I'm just going to pack up the last full simGangster you gave us and and put it on a disc until I get my new and very own laptop coming soon. I won't try any more but I'll have to accept that some settings is not tweaked right...oh, well-thanks for your time really, Arden.
