Thank you very much ! Works fine !
If you've got some other "older" Sony products, avoid to install sound forge 10
in the sony folder in c/program files.
choose to install it in a brand new folder, call it as you want (mine is SF 10)
install the program, before running for the first time, launch keygen, swith to sound forge 10 mode, and click "patch".
Show the direction to your freshly created SF10 folder. the keygen will patch
some dlls and the exe of SF10. After patching, launch the program, give it a serial,
make the fake html for "activation from another computer", and then you can give the activation code. And voilà ! Works for me !
If you install SF10 in the Sony folder, the patch may corrupt the "old shared dlls"
and your acid or dvd architect or vegas may not work anymore, just as the install of latest Vegas that corrupted my old SF9.
I hope I've been "understandable"

T thanks for the post.. I do have a questions with a little poblem.

The computer has Vista on it (damn, I hate that program), it is in admnister mode and has all the rights.... but everythime I go to patch the file in the root program directory it give me an error and does not patch.. I've had this problem with other programs and vista.. and I"m stuck right now, no matter what I have done.. I keep geting the error.

I installed the program, went to Programs, Sony, Soundforge 10, choose that file and hit patch... and bingo, error

any other suggestions would be helpful..

try to put the patch into the program folder

if that doesn't work
copy the files that need to be patched to desktop and patch them there
