Anyone have problems with tnod ? Mine stopped working a few weeks ago. Here's what I was finding:

symptoms
- after few minutes all browser activity ceases, all browsers.
- cannot use direct IP for browser
- ping IP will still work
- ping domain names fails
- dns seems to be dead

Before that I had notices tnod was failing to obtain any server connections. Then few days later, I saw that a little skull icon blinking over the tnod tray icon. Assume that meant failed to connect as I can find no documentation on that.

So troubleshooting I go, focusing on tnod.

What I found, tnod would run, fail to connect to any server, then either exit or go to the skull icon. Around the same moment, browser/dns fails.

Search for this problem, cannot locate. tnod is disabled until I determine a cause.

That means they put T-nod on the black list and eset recognises it as a threat, so you need to add it as exeption - tools - real time system protection, disable for a few minutes, restore t-nod from quarantine or reinstall it - and than add it to exeptions. Hope I helped.

Yes, I know. It's in the exceptions. Been working for a long time with no problems. But suddenly stopped. I recently (again) deleted it all, and reinstalled. 2nd time doing it solved the problem. I am thinking tnod got corrupted. Maybe the last solar storm? lol.

Thanks for the reply, perhaps someone someday will have the same issue I had, and determine what the cause is and was.
