PlayOn is a server which allows users to access their favorite Internet videos on their TVs. Most folks don't want to gather the family around the PC in the office to settle in to catch up on missed episodes of your favorite sitcom or check out the latest YouTube videos from your favorite producer.

Of course, there are times you want to watch video on your PC, and there are times when you'd much rather take advantage of the investment you made in your Home Entertainment System and watch on the big screen. In fact, according to a Neilson survey 94% of adults who subscribe to a cable or satellite service prefer to watch programming on their traditional sets rather than online.

What is so special about how we do it? PlayOn leverages your existing set-top boxes, game consoles, and home PCs – so you don't have to buy any new devices or connect them to your TV.

1.) Run the installer PlayOn.msi, the cracks are pre-applied.

2.) Open Playon Settings from your desktop or start menu.

3.) Choose the registration tab and register with the desired serial.

1.) If you have used the above keys before, your license has likely been revoked. Run revokefix.reg to fix it.

2.) If you get an error 1721 while installing, disable UAC or log in as Administrator.

3.) Updating is disabled in this release, you will have to update your scripts manually.

4.) PlayLater is not included. Don't install it. It may autoupdate and overwrite the patched PlayOn files.

i downloaded the latest version of the channel in roku and i guess i screwed up by doing that since it cant find the playon server

Yeah, I guess that is an attempt to phase out the fix. You'd have to find something to make the box UPnP compatible or a way to downgrade the channel to get it to work.

Hey thanks for the release.
I am having Issues with mlb.tv plugin. Is it possible to get the Version 3.4.38.2949 pre-patched. I´m using this version as trial right now and it is working good. They must have done some improvements during 3.4.33.2735 and the newest version.

Can someone patch the new 3.5.3 version. It has a few more channels like hbo go and few more. Or is there a way to copy the patched files from the install directory of this copy the the newest one? Or just how to update the channels list manually to add the new channels?

I disabled UAC and am using an admin account, but still get the 1721 error

Is there a good alternative?
tversity isn't free anymore either it seems like they have a basic version.
ps3 media server I cannot get to work (I think b/c I have 2 routers..comcast..)

basically I want something to work on my ps3 that I can add rss feeds to

Wanted to say thanks, works streaming to my iphone but only using a client app different from the playon app for iphone, never could get that to connect, but I use 8player and can watch all the channels and movies that are stored on my pc streamed to my iphone.

Never could get the netflix to work though, always get the 'unable to test login error'
