With reference to this mpeg problem that some members posted before in this thread, you're probably right.
I couldn't regenerate this issue in my pc cause I have a legit copy installed. I've tested the version posted by uninstalling my legit copy prior to this installation. It seems that registry keys of the legit one remained intact though I've uninstalled it before installing posted version, as said above. Thing is that everything works fine for me. Both versions (legit and this patched one) are opening mpeg files or rendering AC3 multichannel like a breeze, no matter what I've tried in my pc setup. I couldn't make Sony Vegas not to work! After I saw your posts, I've asked a friend of mine, whose pc skills I really trust, to do this experiment with my posted version of Vegas and also to try build 179 and 144. No Sony Vegas Pro was installed in his computer before. So, he called me back few minutes ago and he confirmed: 1) No mpeg can be opened (in all patched builds) and 2) AC3 rendering is not given as an option by ALL patched versions of Sony Vegas Pro 8. That was his results. I did some googling and I found out that he's probably very right. It's a Sony's protection that can't be cracked so far. He also told me that when he installed a trial version of Sony Vegas 8a Pro (build 144) and had it activated as trial, everything worked fine for him (both mpeg & AC3). That's all my news guys. |

@tpAVm
i have found a way to work this around. First install DVD Architect Pro 4.5 and then install vegas 8 and patch it, after that both mpg/ac3 works, atleast they are working for me right now. Today i have almost installed/uninstalled Vegas nearly 8 times to figure this out but atleast it has worth the try. EDIT : Remember, this will not work with DVD Architect Studio 4.5, you have to install DVD Architect Pro 4.5 and then install Vegas 8 and it will work. Here's a proof, Renderer now has an option to export into mpg/ac3. ![]() Last edited by sohaibrazzaq; 01-18-2008 at 05:02 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

![]() Thanks very much for helpling. If this works (as I stated, I can't check cause I have a legit copy installed and no matter what the version installed, Vegas always works fine for me) it's a great help to other forum members as it brings back to life very commonly used Vegas tools. Once again, thank you very much sohaibrazzaq. Cheers Edit: I just saw the picture and yes, all features are in place. Well done sohaibrazzaq!! Last edited by tpAVm; 01-18-2008 at 05:08 PM. |

I am having trouble downloading... After I get to the site and validate password, I click the download button and the site just times out for me... acts like a broken link... I know it is against forum rules to suggest other hosts but can we have another upload?

![]() Just tested the link and it's working fine. Anyways, I guess you would love to try the following link out. It's a bundle of Sony DVD Architect 4.5b (build 69) and Sony Vegas Pro 8b (build 217). As you might know, both are current and too fresh releases. Good thing is Vegas' features are fully enable in this pack. MPEG & AC3 rendering do really work, unlike in the version of this post. ![]() Cheers Last edited by Darley 04; 01-20-2008 at 10:00 AM. |

![]() Everything works! Follow exactly the info provided in the nfo file and I'm sure you realize that or you may chose to visit the link provided below in order to download the fully working bundle with the rewritten and very detailed installation instructions (recommended). ![]() Good luck. Its weird, everybody here is thanking you for this (thanks again by the way) but my AVG tells me there is a virus (some dropper thing) in the keygen! Is my checker up the duff? I guess it must be. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance. Mickyi |
