Bubble Bursting

Swiss photographer Fabian Oefner captures the short-lived beauty of bubbles at the point of bursting. He says: I did a couple of hundred shots to finally capture the moment, when the soap film starts to disrupt. But eventually one gets a sense of when the bubble bursts and finally I got that perfect shot, where half of the bubble is already gone and the other half is still glowing in its magnificent colours.

Amazing shot! Kinda' reminds me of the global banking fiasco, except there was nothing of beauty in that bursting bubble.
