why are superb photos like this always tiny images and not something big enough to make a wallpaper out of? im guessing because this is the 'free version'.

Beautiful picture but I'm wondering how many shots are combined to make the one outstanding picture? The light from the lava lake would kill the chances of getting the milky way with that level of detail. H3ll, I have a street lamp which puts out less light than that lava and I can't get that level of detail in the MW. And I've taken so many 30 second exposures and tried stacking...... |
