Thanks kmc. those are nice sigs, the tut looks easy to follow too. i tried making one using paint but there arent enough tools to get the result im after, and i dont even want to bother with downloading photoshop on my dial up. thanks for the heads up. i think i'll just wait it out. LOL

i've been looking around your work and enjoy the art you create
i can see how you create your pieces through the tutorials, and it requires a base image.
but i'd like you to create one from the image i am going to describe in mind, it is very abstract. see it as a challenge of skill or just another sig to get better - i'd apprieciate it very much if you could help!

what i have in mind is a phoenix that is composed of strokes/strands that resemble feathers heres an example of what i mean

(i know its not a pheonix, but call it a template to what im after)

the picture above actually resembles close to what i want.

my image in mind is this:
a abstract figure of a pheonix rising at a graceful angle,
there are two stances i am thinking of but im not sure which is best,
1. soaring up at an angle
2. in mid air wing spread (like the true pheonix)
note: i'd prefer a short neck pheonix, that similar to the template if you can visualise what i mean.

heres what a true/real pheonix looks like incase you need to see it

in summary:

i want a rising abstract pheonix.

similiar cool colours (similar colours used in template).

you dont have to stick with those colours, just as long as they are cool colours (lol, yes i know pheonix's are supposed to be firey)

diffused glow - notice how in the template, there is a bright glow where the strokes/strands meet, and they become less glowy and contrast well in the bg.
and please try to integrate the glow, i want to stress that im looking for the exact sort of dissipation in glow as the strands spread away - refer to the template.

some random abtract art (like the stuff you got in ur sig, but only if it blends in well!) and dispersing flames/sparkles (like the dissipating stars in the template) that dosent interfere with the integrity of the pheonix.

the size: about width of 600 x (600-200), im not sure what range would capture the image well so i give permission to change the height to whatever seems fit.

if it works well, i'd like to have the words "denial" and "lie" somewhere in the image whether they are joined together or opposing each other on either side of the pheonix i dont mind!

i know this is a big ask as you havent created such a complex picture from scratch and i still thank you even if you decline.

on another note, i invite any one else who wants to have a crack at creating the sig and i'd appreciate it. im specifically asking for a digital drawing here but i'd enjoy photo/render manipulations if they are awsome.

i did have > 130 posts before but it droped to 90 since.

wont work properly since everyone works with different resolutions on their screen. So to me it might be hitting the thanks button but to everyone else it might not.
