Return of the Dead 1979 DVDRip XviD-CG

A young man who acquires a supernatural heirloom makes three wishes that lead to the tragic demise of his entire family. A courtesan killed by her lover turns into a water ghost to seek revenge. A grave robber is haunted by a sultry spirit whose tomb he plundered. Directed by the late great Li Han Hsiang, Return of the Dead weaves three supernatural tales of erotic enchantment and karmic retribution.

Renowned filmmaker Li Han Hsiang jumpstarted the Shaw Brothers supernatural film tradition in 1960 with the eerie, elegant period piece Enchanting Shadow. He returned to the genre in 1979 with Return of the Dead, blending macabre thrills with his signature stamp of aesthetic erotica. Return of the Dead features Shaw Brother regulars Ngok Wah, Guk Fung, and Si Wai and softcore actress Chan Wai Ying who attracted quite a bit attention at the time for her daring, baring performance.

The Adventures of Emperor Chien Lung 1977 DVDRip XviD-qwerzz

Actor Anthony Lau (a.k.a. Liu Yung, who appeared in such films as Tiger Killer and Passing Flickers) plays the charming title character in The Adventures of Emperor Chien Lung, the winning 1977 comedy directed by Li Han Chiang, the man behind The Love Eterne and The Dream of the Red Chamber. Set sometime in the 18th century, The Adventures of Emperor Chien Lung is the second film in a series that charts the lighthearted voyages of a handsome and debonair Ching Dynasty Emperor. Compassionate and generous to a fault, Chien Lung enjoys wandering around the country in disguise and mingling amongst the common folk to learn what they truly feel about living under his rule. With the more than capable assistance of a street smart rascal (Wong Yue, from Dirty Ho and Tale of a Eunuch), the emperor also tries to sniff out corruption at all levels of government. In wonderfully comical fashion, he sets out to teach these court officials a lesson or two about treating his subjects! Of course, his behavior only enrages these stuffy official-types, but what happens when they learn that he's really the emperor? Whatever the case, it's just another day at the office for the roguish Emperor Chien Lung! Followed by the sequels The Voyage of Emperor Chien Lung and Emperor Chien Lung and the Beauty, this film took home several prizes at the 14th Golden Horse Awards including Best Drama Film and Best Color Film Art Direction (Chen Ching Shen). Inspired by the actual wanderings of one of China's most well-liked rulers, The Adventures of Emperor Chien Lung is a fun-filled motion picture that's a definite crowdpleaser!

Bravo, simply the best Shaw Brothers movie collection. Bring back lots of memories because I watched most of these movies when I was a young boy. I hope you can add the following Li Ching's movies: Moonlight Serenade and Susanna. Thank you very much.

The Casino 1972 DVDRip XviD - CG

Award-winning director Chang Tsang-chai only made seven films for the Shaw Brothers, this was considered one of his best – a fascinating thriller about people gambling with their money, their love and their lives. Their, two lovers meet after being separated for years, and vow to rid the establishment of corrupt military leaders, cheaters, extortionists, and criminals. They finally succeed, but at a terrible price. Lily Ho, of Princess Iron Fan fame, and Yueh Hua, Star of Raw Courage, are the star-crossed., tragic lovers, who bet on righteousness, and came up blood red.

The Imposter 1975 DVDRiP DiVX ASJ-CG

Regular Shaw Brothers screen hero David Keung takes on one of his most iconic roles in the pulp action film The Imposter! When Tzeng Yung (Danny Lee, Hong Kong's future official cop actor) is framed for murder, his brother (Wong Chung) turns to Ge Liang (David Keung), a master of disguise with seven elaborate identities! Among his alter egos is a wealthy businessman, a beggar, a rogue, a military officer, a loan shark, and even a kung-fu master! With his arsenal of identities and some tongue-in-cheek derring do, Ge Liang seeks out the real murderer, who should possess a telltale wound on his leg. Meanwhile, Tzeng Yung is tormented by cruel policeman Captain Lo, played by another Shaw Brothers screen hero, Chan Koon Tai! Director Pao Hsueh Li brings a fun tone to the proceedings, and David Keung plays his pulp hero with delightful scenery-chewing aplomb. For an action-packed, entertaining Shaw Brothers film, The Imposter is tough to beat!

The Drug Addicts 1973 DVDRiP XViD ASJ-CG

Kung-fu ace David Chiang displays a unique take on the narcotics racket in his directorial debut, The Drug Addicts. Only 26-year-old and Shaw Brothers' youngest director, David brings a youthful sensibility to this drama about a drug-addicted kung-fu instructor (Ti Lung) who not only kicks the habit but smashes a drug smuggling ring as only a martial-arts superstar can. With legendary action director Chang Cheh onboard as producer, The Drug Addicts is a fast-moving exploration of an important social issue.

The Three Smiles 1969 DVDRip XviD - YYddr

A popular Chinese romance gets adapted to the glorious big screen in The Three Smiles, a Huangmei opera that's both charming and timeless. Ivy Ling Bor has the gender-bending lead role as Tang Bohu, a famous scholar who masquerades as peasant Hua An to worm his way into the life of pretty maiden Autumn Fragrance (Li Jing), who resides in the court of Lady Hua, wife of the Grand Tutor. Bohu's desire is spurred by the eponymous "three smiles", which were smiles delivered to Bohu by Autumn Fragrance on three separate occasions. However, once he enters the court of Lady Hua, it's not so easy for a peasant to gain the notice of a maiden! Featuring charming Mandarin songs and gorgeous costumes and set designs, The Three Smiles was a major Hong Kong Cinema hit and one of the most beloved films to emerge from the Shaw Brothers vaults. In 1993, the same story behind The Three Smiles served as the blueprint for the blockbuster nonsense comedy Flirting Scholar, starring Stephen Chow and Gong Li.

Turning Point 2009 DVDRip XviD-GAYGAY

When Michael Tse's popular undercover cop character Laughing Gor was killed off in the 2009 TVB police drama E.U., fans mourned his death with online memorial services and a creative outpouring of grief. This unprecedented show of support led TVB to resurrect Laughing Gor on the big screen for the blockbuster spin-off prequel Turning Point. The first film to bear the Shaw Brothers logo since 2002's Drunken Monkey, the TVB-Shaw Brothers co-production is devoted to Laughing Gor's backstory, building the legend behind the struggling small-timer who would eventually become the swaggering, scenery-chewing undercover cop that Hong Kong audiences fell in love with. Though the leading character originates from the small screen, Turning Point's story is largely independent of the TV drama and requires no previous knowledge.

Previously best known on the big screen as Ekin Cheng's sidekick in Young and Dangerous, Michael Tse makes an appealing lead as the twice-undercover caught between the police and the underworld, but what makes Turning Point especially exciting are all the other names attached. Jack-of-all-trades director Herman Yau (True Women for Sale) helms the crime actioner, while acclaimed actors Anthony Wong and Francis Ng make charismatic turns as rival triad leaders. Also making supporting appearances are action star Yuen Biao, Eric Tsang, Felix Wong, Wayne Lai, and TVB starlet Fala Chen in her film debut. For the TV drama fans, there are also crossover cameos from E.U. stars Ron Ng and Sammul Chan.

Undercover cop-turned-triad leader One (Anthony Wong) sends his underling Laughing (Michael Tse) undercover into the police force. But the police send him back into the triads to be an undercover under One! Laughing walks the line passing intel between the two sides, but he's running for his life from both sides of the law after a botched drug bust leaves his handler (Yuen Biao) comatose, and underworld bosses Zatoi (Francis Ng) and Fook (Eric Tsang) out for his head.

72 Tenants Of Prosperity 2010 RETAiL DVDRip XviD-GAYGAY

An homage to the 1973 Shaw Brothers classic House of 72 Tenants, the 2010 all-star comedy 72 Tenants of Prosperity packs in well more than 72 stars into its hilarious lineup. Leading a huge ensemble cast of over 100 actors, Jacky Cheung and Eric Tsang feud away as immature rival shop owners, with Anita Yuen, Stephy Tang, and TVB stars Bosco Wong, Linda Chung, and Wong Cho Lam playing their family members. Familiar faces and distinctly Hong Kong humor occupy every corner of the movie, making 72 Tenants of Prosperity the perfect successor to the film that inspired it, and to the Lunar New Year comedy tradition.

Kung (Eric Tsang) and Kin's (Jacky Cheung) rivalry goes way back to the seventies when they fought over the same girl, who eventually became Kung's wife (Anita Yuen). Now they run competing phone stores right across from each other on Mongkok's busiest street, and stretch their minds trying to outdo each other with crazy promotions. There's absolutely no mixing with the enemy in these parts - until Kung and Kin's kids fall for each other! Further chaos breaks out when the landlord triples the rent of all the shop owners to force them out for redevelopment.

A joint production from Shaw Brothers and TVB directed by Eric Tsang and Patrick Kong, 72 Tenants of Prosperity features many, many Hong Kong celebrities in supporting and cameo roles. TVB sent out practically the station's entire roster of artists including Raymond Lam, Fala Chen, Ron Ng, Myolie Wu, Bernice Liu, Charmaine Sheh, Kate Tsui, Michael Tse, Sunny Chan, Kevin Cheng, Lawrence Ng, Joe Ma, Kenneth Ma, Derek Kwok, and Joyce Tang to name a few. And everyone from singers Justin Lo, Fama, Andy Hui, and Denise Ho to actors like Lam Suet, Gordon Lam, Dicky Cheung, Nat Chan, Sam Lee, Maggie Siu, Wayne Lai, and Prudence Liew show up for a Mongkok stroll. Even Kelly Chen makes an appearance as herself. Catching all the cameos and references in 72 Tenants of Prosperity could be the ultimate test of your Hong Kong pop culture knowledge!

Perfect Wedding 2010 PROPER DVDRip XviD-CoWRY

Director Barbara Wong and writer/producer Lawrence Cheng - the team behind the surprise hit Break Up Club - have come up with another hit film that explores the love attitude of young people in contemporary Hong Kong, albeit of a slightly older demographic this time. Headlined by Canto-pop diva Miriam Yeung as a successful wedding planner who is ironically disillusioned with the thing called love, the winning romantic comedy co-stars two rising stars and media darlings: actor/singer Raymond Lam and model/actress Chrissie Chau. The latest co-production by Shaw Brothers and TVB also features a myriad of familiar faces in the cast, including Teresa Mo, Eric Kot, Kate Tsui, Bernice Liu, Pierre Ngo, Oceane Zhu, Richard Ng, Mak Ling Ling, and numerous star cameos.

While Lok Yan (Miriam Yeung) may be the most in-demand wedding planner in town, her love life is unfortunately nowhere as hot. After a one-night stand with young lawyer Fung (Raymond Lam), she thought they would never meet again, but fate obviously has other plans. Their paths cross again when Fung is assigned to work for Yan at her bridal consultation company. Their professional partnership sparks off a romantic relation, but Yan has trouble coming to terms with having a boyfriend who is five years younger and her subordinate. Meanwhile, Yan's former fiancé Joe (Eric Kot), who dumped her at the altar three years ago, comes back and proposes to her again. Frustrated by Yan's indecision in love, Fung begins dating his colleague Flora (Chrissie Chau)...

Destinys Champion 1997 DVDrip Xvid-SBunite

The brilliant director Sun Chung reteams with the magnificent and majestic Ti Lung for another great kung-fu collaboration. Following such unforgettable previous pairings -- such as the classic The Avenging Eagles, The Deadly Breaking Sword, The Kung-fu Instructor, and The Master Strikes Back -- they reunite for an evocative, bittersweet modern day thriller of an aging snooker player who relives his violent past mistakes through a poverty-striken, streetwise kid. For any fan of either the legendary director or star, this film is a fascinating and involving must-see.
