Unfortunately, any of the old Contributor links that go dead can not be fixed. I do not have control over those commentary shares. I've deleted the "Blade Runner" area in that section since they were both dead. If anyone can share with me the "Workprint" commmentaries so I can put them back up, it would be much appreciated. Thanks. |

Thanks for the ever growing collection! One title correction: "This Is Spinal Cut" should be named "This Is Spinal Tap". Unless I miss an inside joke :) |

Hi Vrexcl and thank you so much for this awesome thread! I have stupid question - and if this is the wrong place to ask or if the answer to it already exists somewhere on the paradox board, then I'm sorry and would be very happy if you could point me there. You mentioned in your first post that the reason for the files being in AC3 format is so that people can include them in their mkv oder avi films. Now, my question is how do I do that? Do I need some special software for that or do I simply have to put the AC3 file into some specific folder or do I need to change the settings of my media player? I love listening to the audio commentaries, but if there's a way for me to listen to them while watching the movies then that'd be even more awesome. Thanks in advance for your answer! |

Really, I should have just made them all MP3 from the beginning, but since I started with the AC3 format, I just continue to post them that way. As for adding them into a mkv file (which I what you would use), get the MKVToolnix program, which will allow you to mux together the video file and audio ac3 to create an .mkv output. You can download it from the link below: ![]() There is also AVI-Mux GUI. You can get it here: Last edited by Vrexcl; 03-08-11 at 09:43 AM. |

I'm guessing this is where you'll be updating the commentaries since Katz is (temporarily I hope) dead?

Katz was my secondary, and like you mentioned, I hope their hijack is only temporary. I want to update the thread over there. I'm surprised this situation has gone on as long as it has so far. |

I'd also like to thank you for posting those Soderbergh Blu-Ray exclusive commentary tracks. I don't have access to a Blu-Ray player and I've really enjoyed listening to those commentaries. Soderbergh is threatening retirement after his next two movies. Such a bummer. His commentaries are always great. Thanks again.

To get commentaries like those, I find rips on Paradox here that have the them included, then extract them from the .mkv files. I'm glad you like them. The "Oceans" trilogy commentaries are definitely enjoyable and informative. Didn't know about the retirement situation. That is bummer. |

If anybody has the Traffic commentary that Soderbergh did for Criterion, that would be a great addition to the thread. Also, I understand that the commentary he did for The Informant! is a Blu-Ray exclusive, and even exclusive within the format (I understand that if you get the Blu-Ray from Netflix, it's a 'bare bones' Blu with no commentary...bizarre) so it may be somewhat hard to find. But if someone has it.... Thanks!
