Trivia (provided by me):
- Nolan made the film for just $6,000 . He shot it on weekends over the course of a year, working with friends he had met at the University College London film society. It began to receive notice after premiering at the San Francisco Film Festival of 1998, and was eventually distributed on a limited basis by Zeitgeist in 1999.

As a result of the film's success, Newmarket optioned the script for his next film, 'Memento'.

- The second apartment Bill and Cobb break into has a batman sticker on the door . Christopher Nolan would later go on to direct Batman Begins.

- Christopher Nolan came up with the idea for the film because he had his home broken into and wondered what the people thought as they went around looking at his belongings.

- Jeremy Theobald, Lucy Russel ("The Blonde") and John Nolan( Christopher's Uncle) all have a cameo in Batman Begins. She's a "Female Restaurant Guest", John plays "Fredericks" and Jeremy is a water supply employee.
