My memory is not as bad as some, the flying dog is a "Luck Dragon" called "Falkor"...Chinese dragons have elongated bodies with little wings and legs (not furry though)...

I remember the 80s as depressing ... I was young then! In retrospect, these were pretty crazy years... the hair! The music! Hmmm.....
